Caitlin Cloyd is a nationally recognized educator, speaker, and digital learning strategist who has dedicated her career to reimagining what school can be—and should be—in an AI-powered world. Beginning her journey as a high school English teacher, Caitlin has since served as an assistant principal, professional learning leader, and Digital Learning Specialist, helping thousands of educators, leaders, and students harness the power of technology to make learning more personalized, equitable, and human-centered.
A self-proclaimed forever learner, Caitlin is known for her bold yet practical approach to innovation. She has led district-wide AI initiatives, presented at major conferences including ISTE and TCEA, and created widely used frameworks like R-TAC (Role, Task, Audience, Context) for effective prompt engineering and ADAPT, a guide for school and district AI implementation. Her work bridges the gap between emerging technology and real classrooms, championing responsible AI use and future-ready practices that support all learners—especially those who have historically been underserved.
Whether she’s coaching school leaders, crafting accessible AI tools, or dreaming up the next evolution of education, Caitlin brings passion, honesty, and a relentless drive to make things better. She believes that AI won’t replace teachers—it will amplify them.
When she’s not writing, presenting, or mentoring other educators, you can find Caitlin enjoying a good book, walking with her dogs Bella and Jax, or planning her next big idea to share with the world.
